Ahhhh, what a wonderful day, err night. I don’t know why I decided to start an actual web-blog but I kind of feel that since it is summer, I need to find something to do during my spare time. What other way to stimulate the brain then by writing? For some reason, I’ve always been a nocturnal person, active at night, sleepy by day. During the leadership camp we had to go for band, I remember something very inspirational that Ms. V (our leadership instructor) said about making goals; one of the most important steps in making a goal is to visually write it down and stick with it without excuses. Well, I think what better way to test this then by creating a list of summer resolutions that I will try my best to follow and stick with. I already created a similar list prior to the leadership camp so I will just copy and paste it from my Word document the goals I have in addition to the newly created ones. Here goes:
Short-Term Goals (As In By End-of-Summer)
- LEARN TO DO THE SPLITS!!!
- STUDY FOR PSAT BY GOING THROUGH WORKBOOKS!
- Prepare for World History AP
- Attend Drum Major Camp (That’s right, I made it though I don’t think I deserved it…)
- Attend Texas Mathworks Summer Honors Camp (ULTIMATE NERD)
- Practice My Clarinet EVERYDAY For at Least Thirty Minutes
- Run For At Least a Mile a Day
- AcaDec Research (*shudders*)
- Complete World History AP Assignments
- Read Anthem
- Read 1984
- Do My Daily Required Amount of Kumon Homework (“Fun”)
- Be Involved in Interact Club During the Summer
