My body is quivering in exhaustion as I can barely make myself sit up straight to type this. I feel sore all over and my eyelids want to submit to the will of gravity. Yet, I must type on and continue to endure for goodness knows how long before I can sink into the pillows of sleep.
11 hours of marching band camp.
1 hour of dance afterwards.
Total: 12 Hours + Being Drum Major is EXTRA EXTRA Work
Result:
ZZzzZZZZZzzZZZzzzZzzzZzzzzZZZzzzz (not)
So today was the first day of Mini-Band camp. Yeah, that’s all I’m going to really say about that. I mean 2 hours outside practicing marching (or as they call it our “visual”), then two hours inside to practice music, then one hour lunch, then 2 hour music, then one hour dinner break, then 2 hour outside practice again.
Whew.
And the fun thing is that it’s going to last for three more days. Oh, and did I mention that I had to go directly to dance practice right afterwards?
Yeah.
I’m too tired to express all my troubles today, as there are far numerous and specifically involve certain very annoying, haughty, rude, unappreciating, freshmen. (Who all happen to be Asian…)
My Conclusion From Today: White people are nicer and get treated nicer by Asian people as well.
I can’t even collapse and sleep right now becuase in order to stick to my goal, I have to practice my clarinet- for at least thirty minutes. So right now, I will create a quick to-do’s list that I must complete before I sleep:
- Practice Clarinet for at least thirty minutes
- Kumon Homework
- Create ten more SAT/PSAT Vocabulary words
- Bake Brownies
- Take shower and stretch
- Read part of Chapter 1 of Guns, Germs, and Steel
